Summary/Abstract: In Morocco, Hassan II University of Casablanca participated, with other Mediterranean establishments, to the SHEMERA project (2011-2014) with the aim of examining gender inequalities in science. Drawing on the Frascati Manual, the comparative study aims to strengthen the gender approach. The results obtained show that if women are well represented in the field of studies and administrative functions, they are underrepresented in management positions. At the academic level, they are more represented in medical sciences than in social and natural sciences. Hassan II University also participated in the TARGET project (2020-2023) with a view to institutionalizing the gender approach in its various instances.
