Legal Aspects Concerning Prostitution

Summary/Abstract: This research aims to draw attention to the phenomenon of prostitution both from a legal, social and economic point of view. The study first presents the contemporary social phenomenon, followed by a brief history and the current situation. Subsequently, the legal classification in the New Romanian Criminal Code is presented and two comparative studies of two states (Germany and the Kingdom of the Netherlands) are presented, where prostitution operates in legal forms, with a separate legal regime of application. In the last part of the research is presented the management of prostitution phenomenon in Romania and the conclusion.
