Summary/Abstract: The focus on junk bonds, which have an inferior credit rating and are associated with more risk, and green bonds which are intended to fund ecologically beneficial projects, has increased in recent years. The dynamics of these two bonds and their effects on financial markets are examined in this article. This work investigates the formation mechanism and determining factors of these two bond types by a thorough comparison analysis. Furthermore, it examines the ways in which certain characteristic of each class of financial instrument impact the nominal values and prices of these bonds.
