Summary/Abstract: In terms of contributing to the literature, it is important to study written sources related to Turkish music theory. The Ottoman treatise, which was included in the scope of the study but whose author is unknown, followed the topics in the traditional adwâr system. However, the author dealt with musical issues in a scattered manner. This situation made it difficult to examine the work. In this research, the treatise in question was not examined as a whole. Here, first of all, the connection of the maqams with the times, the recitation of the Quran with a beautiful voice, the relationship between skin color and temperament, and the arrangement of chords in çeng and qanun were discussed. Subsequently, the maqam, awaza, shu‘be and terkîbs mentioned in the work were explained. While doing this, the treatise was compared with the works written in previous periods. In addition, the elements associated with the maqam, awaza and shu‘bes in the treatise were shown with circles and tables. The main purpose of the study is to bring this treatise, whose author is unknown, to the academic community. In this respect, this study is original and it is hoped that it will contribute to the literature. In addition, by using the comparison method, the similarities and differences of the treatise with other works have been tried to be revealed. In this study, which was handled with the qualitative research method, the data was obtained by document scanning and analyzed and examined.
