Summary/Abstract: The purpose of this article is to present key changes in the composition and structure of the model presented by the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM), introduced in the latest version, as well as the implementation of the 2013 version. in an industrial company in Bulgaria. Created in 2019 model includes management tools that address contemporary challenges in the current volatile and rapidly changing economic environment. The framework of the model underwent significant changes due to the conclusions obtained from the research activity of a team of scientists involved in the development of the previous versions. Since the new one has been implemented in a small number of organizations, the previous version from 2013 is still widely used. To achieve the goal, literature sources were studied on the topic of using the EFQM model and its effects on the company's key business processes. The main changes were identified regarding the construction and implementation of the model. The key challenges for both versions related to pre-anchoring process evaluation and clear leadership support.
