Summary/Abstract: The article focuses on Polish popular music festivals. The author demonstrates the specificity of these festivals, highlighting their changing cultural significance. This change can be primarily seen in the deepening specificity of such festivals, which have ceased to operate on the principle of being “for everyone”, as they change their form in an effort to reach select audiences. Thus, there is no longer just one “festival Poland”, but many “neo-tribal” communities grouped around various festivals.
