Back to Nature Ideology, the Case Study of Western Serbia

Summary/Abstract: This paper focuses on the perception of nature and the natural, which I marked as an ideological viewpoint and will analyze as such. I have based my research on the following sources: different platforms of internet communities connected by the desire to “return to nature” and interviews from the field research in Western Serbia that I have been conducting continuously since 2018. The goal of the paper is to contribute to a better understanding of the concept of “living in harmony with nature” and the impact that this idea has had on different aspects of the community’s social and political life.
