Summary/Abstract: The aim of this text is to describe a fragment of a late me-dieval manuscript found in Berlin, Staatsbibliothek, which contains on fols. 1r and 4vthe pre-war stamps of the Seminary Library in Płock. The destroyed parchment leavesare a hitherto unknown witness of the text of the medieval hymn Gaude, mater Polonia.The text preserved in the Berlin fragment has several different variants than the oldestmanuscript with the complete text and music notation of the hymn, known from theantiphonary of Kielce (Chapter Library, MS 1).
