Summary/Abstract: This review of pwM Edition’s publication ofRoger Scruton’s The Aesthetics of Music (Biblioteka Res Facta Nova series, 2024, transl. byZbigniew Skowron) focuses not on Scruton’s concepts but on problems of Polish trans-lation. The meanings of the English original have been misinterpreted in some passages,and there are evident stylistic imperfections.
