Summary/Abstract: The aim of the study was to present the current and probable future organizational and financial aspects related to the participation of business entities in public tenders for the implementation of infrastructure projects. The analysis indicated, using the example of a case study, the conditions related to the accession and the technical procedures for awarding the tender. The author highlighted the cost analysis and the price level, which are key elements in the tender process. An exemplary application of IT tools developed on the basis of a digital program was presented. The calculation concerns two companies applying for the implementation of a public road project. The presented case illustrates the possibilities of infrastructure project profitability analysis, taking into account the changing project costs and the discount rate.
