Summary/Abstract: The strategy for achieving public order and safety, aimed at maintaining citizen security and combating street crime, represents a programmatic document that defines public order and safety and the national interest in this area, evaluates the current state of public order and risk factors, formulates the principles and priority action directions, demands the necessary resources for maintaining, ensuring, and restoring public order, and establishes the responsibilities of public order forces. Ensuring normalcy, order, and public safety has always been a priority for society, which, through its specialized structures, has sought to identify the most efficient forms and methods to achieve this objective.More than ever, there is a need to strengthen the authority of public forces that enforce the state's policing rights, especially in the current conditions where we witness a resurgence of crime on all levels. Every state in the world grows stronger due to its fundamental institutions and is structured into systems, each with different, characteristic tasks, but simultaneously working parallelly at all times. The entire police body constitutes a system of elements of public authority, that is, the executive power of the Romanian state. Police bodies do not act accidentally, but through a well-organized system called the system of police bodies. The features that make up the order system bodies in Romania are organized on the principle of territoriality, having competence at the level of the territorial-administrative units where they operate. The leadership of the central territorial bodies of the profile grants autonomy to the police forces locally, where they have a flexible structure, demonstrating operational efficiency in actions. They are parts of a hierarchical system based on the principle of subordination.
