Summary/Abstract: The purpose of this study is to conduct a comparative analysis of the “American” and “Chinese” models of globalization in the context of the growing competition between the United States and China for global leadership; and to improve understanding of the differences between these models of globalization, which will allow for more accurate forecasting of further development of international relations and development of effective strategies for different countries. The study also attempts to consider the prospects and future of these models and to point out their shortcomings. The article is based on a comparative analysis of theoretical concepts and empirical data, including official documents, scientific publications, and statistical data.
