Summary/Abstract: Prof. Andrzej Paczkowski is one of the most respected Polish scholars dealingwith the history of the 20th century. He wrote both his master’s thesis and his doctoralthesis under the supervision of Henryk Jabłoński, a historian and politician well-knownduring communist rule in Poland. Throughout the functioning of the People’s Republicof Poland, Henryk Jabłoński belonged to the political elite of the government of the time.At the same time, as a historian, he supervised academic theses (MAs and PhDs) writtenby many researchers embarking on their adventure in science. One of his students wasProfessor Andrzej Paczkowski. The presented document is a record of Prof. Paczkowski’smemories of Henryk Jabłoński.
