Summary/Abstract: The spread of propaganda narratives is an integral part of information warfare. The article focuses on the propaganda narratives promoted by Russian agents and propagandists from 24 February to 20 May 2022, during the siege of Mariupol. The author analyses the types of communication under siege. Features of the impact of the enemy's information are studied on the example of the Russian-Ukrainian war in Mariupol. In the absence of electricity and mobile communications, social media spreading the occupiers' fake and propaganda content were ineffective. However, some Mariupol residents used generators to charge their devices, and they received text messages from the invaders proposing collaboration against the defenders of Ukraine. Russian occupiers used the jamming or blocking of radio and television broadcasts, spreading their own communication channels on other frequencies, establishing their own mobile operator, distributing political press for free, creating "twin" versions of the local press, and posting leaflets and announcements.
