Summary/Abstract: The latest issue of the journal features texts dedicated to a wide range of topics related to Polish non-fiction literature. These contributions stem from the VIII International Conference “Polish Literature in the World: Polish Non-Fiction Literature – Perspectives of the Sender and the Recipient”, organised by the University of Silesia in Katowice. The authors examine genres such as biography, autobiography, reportage, and guidebooks, highlighting their shif t to-wards the literary mainstream due to both reader preferences and literary strategies. The articles in this issue provide scholarly reflections on the presence of Polish non-fiction literature beyond Poland’s borders, thereby expanding the state of research on literary reception mechanisms and translation strategies
