Summary/Abstract: This research paper examines the possible benefits and challenges of Ukraine's accession to the European Union. The text emphasizes the hopes and threats faced by Ukraine, the EU and other member states. By comparative analysis and analysis of data from European Commission reports and other organisations, the report examines the following aspects – military security and defence, foreign direct investment, energy, migration, internal and external security, corruption and agricultural policy. The results highlight the need for institutional changes, fighting corruption and supporting Ukraine's stability and development.
