Then exceptional actors appeared, unsurpassed in all components of performing skills: vocal (singing), declamatory (lines and dialogue), expressive (expression of emotions) and acting (dancing and martial arts).They portrayed female dramatic characters on stage with the ’male body.‘ Their superb creative achievements and classic stage images leave an indelible memory in the cultural history of the world.
