Summary/Abstract: The report examines the problems and tools for improving the quality of higher musical education (HME) in the context of the Bologna process over the last 15 years. An important element in this field are the Standards, approved by the independent European agency for accreditation and enhancement of the quality of the HME (MusiQuE - the author is a member of the Board of the organization). They are consistently and comprehensively substantiated by groups in their various aspects in evaluating of music institutes.
