Summary/Abstract: In particular, she explores the role parents play in cultivating Czech among their children. The article begins with a systematic overview of scholarly literature written on Czech heritage speakers located across the globe, from Belgium to Croatia to Azerbaijan to Oceania and America. The author then presents case studies of heritage speakers she knows personally.
