3D visualization of a cultural heritage site

Summary/Abstract: The article presents the application of 3D technologies in the creation of realistic three-dimensional visualization of one of the remarkable buildings in Plovdiv, reflecting the past as a mirror of different eras and cultures, nowadays having the role of a contemporary art center – Chifte Banya. The three-dimensional object model is created with Autodesk 3ds Max, using various modeling types and textures. The goal is to provide access to a realistic 3D visualization of Chifte Banya in an interactive way with the idea of preserving and developing the cultural and historical heritage on the territory of the oldest city in Europe – Plovdiv.
