Musical analysis and conducting treatment of satb chorus „Roar! Yellow river!“

Summary/Abstract: Among the large-scale chorus works in China, the Yellow River Cantata is a landmark work. „Yellow River Cantata“ has eight movements. „Roar! Yellow River“ is the last movement and the one with the highest artistic achievement, which has strong research value. This report analyzes the background, musical characteristic, chorus and conducting treatment of „Roar! Yellow River“, in order to further promote the study of „Roar! Yellow River“ and provide theoretical reference for chorus rehearsal practice.
