Summary/Abstract: This text explores pop-cultural texts that portray mythology (especially the Clas-sical one) through the lens of contemporary perspectives on queerness and other-ness, using various strategies for expressing identities employed by new generationsof recipients (and authors). In their analyses, the authors focus primarily on exam-ining the RPG system City of Mist, created in 2017 by Amít Moshe for Son of OakGame Studio, and the video games Hades by Supergiant Games (2020) and StrayGods: The Roleplaying Musical by Summerfall Studios (2023), with contextual ref-erences to other popular culture works, including games and TV series.
