Summary/Abstract: Medical humanities is a multidisciplinary field integrated into the curriculum of a number of higher medical schools around the world, which brings together humanities (theory of literature and arts, philosophy, ethics, history and theology), social sciences (anthropology, psychology and sociology) and arts (literature, theatre, cinema, music and visual arts) with the knowledge and skills of medicine. This article analyzes teaching in the scientific field "Medical Humanities" in different higher medical schools around the world.
