Modern trends in ensuring information security and risk management

Summary/Abstract: The latest threats and challenges to information security, such as threats in cyberspace, are becoming a fundamental problem of today's era. With the requirements set forth in the Ordinance on Interoperability and Information Security, the main legislative provisions are set forth, which stipulate the ways of maintaining, storing and accessing the register of standards, as well as the methodology for assessing compliance with operational security requirements. Their compliance is guaranteed through certification of the information systems and the functionality of the unified environment of exchange of electronic documents. Control is carried out by the chairman of the State Agency for Information Technologies and Communications. The National Cyber Security Strategy „Cyber Resistant Bulgaria 2020” of the Council of Ministers states the responsibility of the country's leadership to ensure a stable environment for the development of cyber security for a sustainable and safe space
