Summary/Abstract: The present research aims to bring to the attention of the general public a review of digital programs for writing Byzantine music. In an age of information technology and information accessibility, although few compared to other music writing programs (even neumatic – see the case of Gregorian music notation, for which we find sufficient electronic resources), there are several digital programs that allow any user of ICT resources to access the possibility of writing Byzantine neumatic scores. These little-known programs can be extremely useful not only for musicologists who study Byzantine music but for all those involved in other fields of musicology who, tangentially, may sometimes encounter in their research the need for writing neumatic examples (such as, for example, the case of those who research classical works inspired by a Byzantine melodic source, very present, as an example, in the Romanian symphonic creation).
