Summary/Abstract: The advent of AI and its consequent raise as the most powerful of all human inventions, comes with a price: apparent human obsolescence in the wake of a host of ethical issues. The current race towards developing Artificial Super Intelligence wreaks havoc in all aspects of life giving rise to speculations about gloom and doom as far as the future of humanity is concerned. Music is one aspect of human life that is profoundly affected by the rise of AI. Will AI stifle completely human creativity by replacing all creative agents? Will ASI do away with humanity? While this article talks about music composition, its core ideas apply to all arts and even further to other domains of human activity.
