AN OVERVIEW OF THE CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE VALORIZATION OF THE ROMANIAN CULTURAL IDENTITY FROM THE DIASPORA

Summary/Abstract: This paper is a brief presentation of some general data about the dynamics of the Romanian population living in the diaspora in recent years. We try to provide an overview of the involvement of the most important Romanian institutions, but also the presence of artists who manage the relationship between the Romanian state and the Romanian people living abroad. We also analyzed the way in which Romanian cultural identity is valued and promoted in the diaspora, focusing on artistic, educational, religious and diplomatic initiatives.
