Summary/Abstract: The article presents the issues of daily functioning regarding people affected bypost-stroke aphasia. Main objective of this article is to describe the speech disorders andbehaviour that are a result of stroke. A number of studies have been conducted to showthe arisen disorders and create the possibility of comparing them due to the position andextent of the damaged brain structure. The next part of the article describes the diagnosisof aphasia and the evaluation of linguistic competence of three case studies. The last partpresents a neurologopedic therapy proposal of a patient with aphasia.
