Summary/Abstract: The paper deals with the problem of music literacy of children and students. The parameters of possible educational activities within the framework of artistic communication are derived. A model is proposed for early childhood musical literacy in non-formal education. An educational structure is considered that is targeting forming skills for recognizing musical symbols and linking them with pitch movement in a major scale.
