Summary/Abstract: The Lu Xun Arts Academy is a cradle of Chinese revolutionary literature and art. It was founded in the flames of war and grew out of the battles for the liberation of the Chinese nation. The Lu Xun Arts Academy cultivates talents, creates numerous artworks of music and literature, gives performances and achieves brilliant success. Whether it is the history of Chinese revolution or contemporary Chinese literature, art and education, the Lu Xun Academy of Arts has an important place. Depending on historical events, the activities of the Lu Xun Academy of Arts can be divided into two main periods: the period in Yenan (1938-1945) and the period in Northeast China (1946- 1952). This article provides an in-depth an alysis of the historical environment, the contributions, art troupes and their artistic activities and practices during the two periods.
