Culture and Art in innovation ecosystems

Summary/Abstract: This article introduces the concepts of „culture“, „art“, „innovation“ and „ecosystems“. The regulatory framework at the national and European level is presented, which has an impact on the development of the innovation ecosystem in the country and the place of the creative and recreational industries in her. The aim is to show the place of culture and art in Bulgarian innovation ecosystem and the regional importance of the city of Plovdiv.
