Summary/Abstract: Being present in the development of mankind since prehistoric and ancient times, wine continues to be an invariable part of modern culture. Wine is an essential element of the increasingly popular wine tourism. At the same time the aim of the current study is to manifest the world heritage through cultural landscapes related to vines and wine. A definition of vine-wine cultural landscape is proposed. In the current study 17 properties are identified as vine-wine cultural landscapes located predominantly in Europe. Analyses of the criteria demonstrated that all six criteria are incorporated at different extent in the inscription of the properties. The evolution of the list of landscapes is followed and analyses of the areas sizes of the properties and the corresponding buffer zones are made.
