Summary/Abstract: In the article identify essence of financial and banking engineering, disclose their correlation, factors and reasons of beginnings. Banking engineering - is the process of adapting existing ban-products-bank services, creating a bank of innovation, trade and risk management, liquidity of investments. This process is processing, developing, implementing competitive innovative products. Thus, the bank is an engineering tool for the development of banking innovation.
