Summary/Abstract: The text deals with the analysis of the current occurrence and ways of usingprefixed verbs formed from word bases borrowed from English in the com mu ni ca tionof members of the young ge ne ra tion. A total of 441 prefixal de ri va ti ves formed from125 verb bases, dis tin guished on the basis of the degree of graphic adap ta tion, aredivided in the text both according to their classification into verb classes based onstem- for ming suffixes, and above all according to the native and borrowed prefixesused. In addition to their morphological-semantic characteristics, correspondingCzech equi va lents and examples of usage are attached to the in di vi dual prefixedforms, and the variability of prefixes and the semantic modification of the verbsformed by them are discussed in particular.
