Summary/Abstract: This article examines three manuscripts by the Bulgarian Enlightenment figure Neophyte Hilendarski Bozveli, preserved in the archives of the Church- Historical and Archival Institute of the Bulgarian Patriarchate. These manuscripts contain Bozveli’s transcription and translation of La Filosofia Morale (1670) by Emanuele Tesauro, a representative of Baroque literature. Bozveli based his work on the 1764 Russian edition. The analysis of this transcription and translation, influenced by Aristotle‘s Nicomachean Ethics, offers new insights into Bozveli’s role as a thinker and educator, highlighting Aristotle‘s impact on 19th-century Bulgarian culture.
