Summary/Abstract: The translation-oriented column ‘Passport’ brings a selection of notes and marginalia that the famous Nobel prize winner Elias Canneti wrote in 1993. In the selection and translation of Canneti’s notes, a reader can find Canetti’s recollection of Bosnian writer Meša Selimović and meditation on Bosnia caught in the post-Yugoslav warfare.
