Summary/Abstract: This text is an attempt to apply the concept of 'atmosphere', recently analysed in certain philosophical circles, to pastoral spirituality. To this end, the first part of the text will provide an overview of the understanding of the concept of "atmosphere" itself. On this basis, the second part will show those aspects of this concept which can be useful in describing spiritual experience. In the last, third part, the possibilities and perspectives for using the spiritual "potential" of the concept of "atmosphere" in experiencing and shaping the spiritual experience of the family will be proposed - in existential as well as theological or pastoral aspects.
