Summary/Abstract: A consequence of popularization of pro-ecological thinking is the postulate of building ecological spirituality. In this context various projects are developed depending on different philosophical and religious conceptions. Christian ecological spirituality postulated by Pope Francis seems to be valuable, interesting and attractive proposition. The attempt to build an integral vision of it seems to be essential since it take into account its specific Christian character. The characteristic features of such ecological spirituality are:The distinguished place of human being among creations, from which follows the responsibility and care for the world. The Trinitarian character of God which is the basis of dialogical and relational character of intercourse between God and the created world. The symbolism of the Christian liturgy, which shows the communion of the natural world and sacrum.Exemplar value of the life of the saints for the experience of the sacrum in nature and its contemplation as a way of discovering God.
