Creativity in education – freedom and limit

Summary/Abstract: The present paper underlines the most relevant aspects of the creativity as an important element in the educational process. It also presents actual conditions for manifesting a creative spirit and practical suggestions useful for parents and teachers. We want to emphasize the idea that cultivating creative thinking is an important task of today’s school. The creative teacher gives students freedom to express their opinion, respects their opinions, trains them in the evaluation process and communicates the evaluation criteria to them. Giving to the students the freedom to find solutions and allowing them to express themselves creatively is a condition for success in the educational process.
