Summary/Abstract: The article examines education in the subjects “Bulgarian language and literature“ and“History, culture and traditions of the Bulgarian people“ in the Republic of Moldova. For this purpose, both publications of scientists who know the educational process in the Bulgarian disciplines in the country, as well as field records collected using the method of structured and semi-structured interviews, were used. The respondents are the two Methodists seconded by the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Bulgaria in the town of Komrat at the moment – M. Delibaltova, PhD (who was also a seconded Methodist in Bulgarian Language and Literature in the town of Taraclia and one can say that she knows the situation in the whole country) and Ivo Hristov (who was also a seconded teacher of History of Bulgaria and traditions of the Bulgarian people in the city of Bolgrad, Ukraine). Both the problems and the achievements were analyzed, and the available methodological tools were also commented on.
