Summary/Abstract: The performance of Mozart’s repertoire is one of the highest artistic achievements of M. Cebotari, she is rightfully considered one of the best Mozart singers of all time. The article analyzes information about M. Cebotari’s performances in Mozart’s operas, collected on the basis of numerous photographic evidence, as well as unique data from Western European periodicals of the 1930-1940s. The materials are presented in the context of complex historical realities.
