Summary/Abstract: This paper provides a systematic literature review of studies investigating artificial intelligence-enabled human resource management operations. The analysis highlights that artificial intelligence technologies can improve employee recruitment, selection, compensation, training, and performance management. Throughout June 2023, a quantitative literature review of the Web of Science, Scopus, and ProQuest databases was performed, with search terms including “artificial intelligence-driven workplace automation and algorithmic management tools” + “employee motivation,” “employee satisfaction,” and “employee productivity.” As research published in 2023 was inspected, only 142 articles satisfied the eligibility criteria, and 15 mainly empirical sources were selected. Data visualization tools: Dimensions (bibliometric mapping) and VOSviewer (layout algorithms). Reporting quality assessment tool: PRISMA. Methodological quality assessment tools include: AMSTAR, Distiller SR, MMAT, and ROBIS.
