Cooperation of Teachers and Didacticians of Informatics in the Pilsen Region in the Development of the Community

Summary/Abstract: The paper presents the pilot involvement of the Department of Computer Science and Educational Technology of the Faculty of Education at the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen in the project Development of subject didactics as a tool for improving teaching in schools in the Pilsen region. The objectives of this initiative and the way of the department's involvement in the project in 2022 are presented. The data obtained through a questionnaire survey among teachers involved in the project and the conclusions from the conducted focus group are described. The results served as a basis for the design of targeted methodological support for the participating teachers from grammar and secondary vocational schools. Finally, sample activities are presented, which were compiled on the basis of the requirements of the teachers themselves and practically implemented in a face-to-face seminar.
