Summary/Abstract: All members of the Islamic faith agree that one of the undeniable realities that Islamic religious texts show is the resurrection in the next world - in the Hereafter. However, not all schools within the historical, sociological, akaidological and philosophical development of Islam had a unified understanding of the details of the realities of this same notion. Among what managed to cause a long scientific and religious debate is the position of the Islamic philosophers, precisely Al Farabi and Ibn Sina (Avicenna), about the philosophical meaning of resurrection. This paper points out aspects of the contradictions between researchers about the correct definition of this position, through a research methodology with an inductive character in Islamic philosophy in general, and in Al Farabi in particular. Al Farabi's attitudes about the reality of resurrection are unfolded and revealed in this paper work, and clearly define Farabi's philosophical views about a spiritual resurrection in the Hereafter
