Summary/Abstract: Among Islamic societies, freedom of belief and thought has been the most debated in the last century. According to these discussions, secularism, veiling and religious education are considered from many different aspects. In this context, the Republic of Kosovo as the youngest state in the world is included in these current discussions. The frequency of debates from day to day has attracted the attention of every segment of society. Today's Kosovar intellectuals also participate in these discussions with the introduction of new religious movements after the war. Intellectuals as leaders of society from which point of view do they look at these religious discussions, where religious belief is a necessity of society? In this context, the ideas of intellectuals on these kinds of important and critical issues are very valuable. We believe that intellectuals, taking into account the needs of society itself, will create permanent solutions to issues such as freedom of belief and thought, religious education and headscarves.
