Summary/Abstract: The article focuses on the personal interests of the student during artist interventions and more broadly in art education. Today, art education is concerned with the student's interests in their artistic creation process. In research on artist interventions, divergences regarding the consideration of the student's interest appear between, on one side, school actors, teachers, and educational advisors, and, on the other, artists and students. The differences concern the representation of the student's interests during the three stages of the creation process: inspiration, elaboration, and public exhibition. The research results question the representations of students' personal interests in cultural projects or art education. In conclusion, the article proposes to educational environments and their research and training environments to develop artistic interest, an essential interest for each individual's participation in the cultural development of their territory.
