Summary/Abstract: Supply-Use tables (SUT) tables describes the flow of goods and services within an economy. The compilation of these tables requires a balancing of the resource and use, which ensures that the total output of goods and services corresponds to their consumption in different economic sectors. In this paper, approaches used to balance the SUT will be discussed. The manual approach relies on expert judgments to correct inconsistencies, offering flexibility and context-specific corrections. Automated techniques, such as the RAS method and the SUTB function, provide computational efficiency and consistency by handling large data sets accurately. The hybrid approach, which integrates manual and automated methods, combines the strengths of each by allowing both efficient data processing and precise adjustments based on economic experience.
