Summary/Abstract: The act of management is a professional function, a complex activity, carried out in a well defined legislative frame, having as a goal planning, organising, leading, coaching and advising a group of people. The activities that make the whole content of the management functions are only specific to managers, being the exact essential elements which separates them from the executives. The responsabilities are to be exerted either at the level of a whole organization, or in a specific domain, depending on the hierarchical level the manager stands.
