Summary/Abstract: The article is dedicated to the history of publishing activity in the Chernihiv diocese in New time. The basic stages of development are analysed. Reasons of decline of diocese printing-house and publishing activity are certain at the end of 18th - the beginning of 19th centuries, her gradual fading to the middle 19th century. The circumstances of revival of publishing activity of the Chernihiv diocese are considered in the second half of 19th century.
