Summary/Abstract: This paper discusses some relevant technologies of virtual experimentation and presents the technical structure of the project. The main purpose of the Web-based virtual laboratory is distance education concept, to provide students who are located at geographically distributed location, access via Internet to various simulations and experiments in engineering education. Modern e-learning plays an important role in cultivating the innovative thinking, improving teaching quality and increase the capacity of class teaching. In the web-based virtual lab, they are able to gain some practice in theory and review contents of experiments.
